FOLLOW THE DIRECTION RULE
Build a basement in the North, East or northeast direction of the house. If you have already constructed a basement under the entire house then it is suggested to use only these directions.
ENSURE PROPER VENTILATION
Make sure your basement has a provision of sunlight and plenty of fresh air. For this, it is suggested to build the roof of the basement at least 2-3 feet above the ground.
Don’t IGNORE THE SHAPE
According to Vastu, build a regular shape of the basement i.e. square or rectangle. Don’t go for funky spaces as they can harm your wealth and health.
KNOW THE HEIGHT OF THE WALLS
The walls of the basement should be a minimum of 9 feet. More volume and space in the basement will create a chance of lesser negativity.
