But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the theatre was totally closed in March. So many movies are going to be released this year this situation it was not possible to release those films theatrically.

Tanhaji is a period drama film that was released on 10 January 2020 theatrically. It is OM Raut’s movie. It is considered to be the highest-earning movie this year. The budget of this movie was Rs 150 crores and it earned 365.65 crores this year.
This movie was produced by Ajay Devgan himself. The plot revolves around the true story of Maratha Warriors Tanhaji with Uday Bhaan’s power-pack performance for winning the rule of Maratha.
This movie is composed of a true story and a true event. The role of Ajay Devgan and Tanhaji is powerful, mind-blowing, powerpack, and amazing. This movie is short but her talent makes her feel like the heroine of the story.
2. Love Aaj Kal
love Aaj Kal is the movie that is most talked about for its star cast from last year. This film was released this year on 14 February on the occasion of Valentine’s day. This movie is by Imtiaz Ali. The star cast of this movie is Sara Ali Khan and Karthik Aryan, Randeep Hooda.
Love Aaj Kal will take you away from your present days to your old school days, and in a moment, will bring you back again. This is one of the most honest packages from Imtiaz Ali, and I must say that he succeeded bravely. Many of you will relate to the story and will find your own love story in this masterpiece from Imtiaz Ali.
It also shows the complexity of relationships in this world. Imtiaz Ali wants to show complex situations and dysfunctional relationships but fails to weave it all together despite good performances by Sara Ali Khan and Karthik Aryan.
3. Angrezi Medium
This film is very emotional for the Indian audience as it is the last film of Irrfan Khan. This movie was released in cinemas on 12 March 2020 but within a short span due to the COVID-19 pandemic all theatres had to close for lockdown so this movie didn’t run successfully for this. But the review of the movie is good. People and critics both liked this movie.
This movie is directed by Homi Adajania. This movie earns only Rs 13.54 crore. The producers of this movie are Dinesh Vijayan and Jyoti Deshpande. In this movie, we can see Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The movie revolves around a simple middle-class single parent named Champak Bansal. This role is played by Irrfan Khan. The plot of this film is based on a middle-class mithai shop owner and single father who is set to fulfill his daughter’s dream to study in London. However, certain misadventures lead him and his family on a new quest, which renews their relationships and bonds.
4. Dil Bechara
Dil Bechara is another movie which always remembered as an emotional attachment for Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans. As it is the last movie of this talented actor.
People of Indian cinema will miss him to see him on screen. The movie was released on OTT platforms Disney Plus Hotstar on 24 July 2020. The director of this movie is Mukesh Chhabra and produced by Fox Studios. The movie is an adoption of a great novel The Faults in Our Stars. The story of this movie is the struggle of two cancer patients.
The two characters in this movie are Katie and Manny. They are poles apart in personality and their battle against cancer is the only common thread binding them. Love slowly wraps them in its embrace, but little do they know what fate has in store for them.
5. Ludo
Ludo is another most talked about movie in 2020. It is released on OTT platforms due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The movie is directed by Anurag Basu.
Anurag Basu once again proved himself as a director. His movie is always different from another one.
