Down the Vegland Street

You read the title right. This article is going to be about all the goodness that comes with a vegetarian diet. Human body hardly requires any animal protein, such as protein from meat and fish. A vegetarian diet not only keeps one on a healthy track but is also extremely environment friendly as opposed to those diets that contain meat and fish.

The focus of vegetarian diets is on plants that can be consumed as food. This diet also includes loads of vegetables, fruits, grains, pulses, beans, nuts, seeds, and the list goes on. However, there’s no single way to follow a vegetarian diet plan. There are several different vegetarian diet patterns that can be followed, but I’ll list three, as they are the most popular ones:

  • The Lacto-ovo vegetarian diet that includes both eggs and dairy products.
  • The Lacto vegetarian diet that includes dairy products and only plant derived food.
  • The Vegan diet that is free from all sorts of meats and animal products including milk.

The Lacto vegetarian diet pattern is the most common one to be followed.

A vegetarian diet should include all the vegetables that are available along with fruits, grains, and seeds. Tofu is a great option too! Filled with protein, this bean byproduct is a powerhouse of energy.  Speaking of tofu, I’m reminded of my stay in Noida, for work. It was a weekend and I was dying to lay my hands on some vegetarian food. I was actually craving some veg biryani that contained tofu (I’m a pure vegetarian). So I looked up the best vegetarian restaurants in Noida and found just what I was looking for. The food that I was served was literally melting in my mouth. There are so many places in the city that serve good food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. But if you are a pure vegetarian, you can still get some lip-smacking, fingerlicking food at the best veg restaurants in Noida.  Some of them are posh diners, some roadside dhabas, but, trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Everyone enjoys a hearty meal, there’s nothing wrong in it. But, if we look closely and carefully, then we will find out that there are some issues that need to be taken care of, for example, avoiding junk food. These types of food might make you feel full, but, they are usually devoid of any sort of goodness that can affect one’s health in a good way. I would give some tips that will help you understand what’s best for you. Everyone has a different body, which means, everyone has their own kinds of mechanisms. What I find beneficial for myself, you might not, but my tips will only be for vegetarians since I am practicing this habit for a very long time now and I know nothing about meat and fish. Even with a vegetarian diet, one has to maintain certain things, that are

  • Calorie intake.
  • Making sure that they are not sticking to one single dish, or fruit, or veggie.
  • Drinking a lot of water.
  • Regular exercising.
  • To avoid habits like smoking, alcohol consumption etc.
  • To refrain from having junk food and added salt/sugar.

If you practice this pattern, then you will notice a significant difference with time. It will boost your metabolism, making you look good both on the outside and the inside. Therefore, keep eating veggies and stay healthy & share your business story here.
