With the use of solar-powered autonomous vehicles, a wireless Internet connection is transmitted. Similarly, these vehicles have been working on laser technology that can deliver 10 gigabits of data per second to a target the size of a dime from over 10 miles away, that is fast enough to allow hundreds of thousands of people access to broadband Internet simultaneously.
The small towers on the ground will receive these signals, which can then be converted to a Wi-Fi or LTE network. It is highly beneficial for the governments and internet providers that are making efforts to bridge the digital divide by building appropriate infrastructure.
