Add the tea tree oil for hair to your shampoo ( 8-10 drops of oil in 250 ml of shampoo). Massage the mixture onto your scalp and let it sit for at least 3 minutes before rinsing it off. You can also use shampoos that contain tea tree oil and are effective against dandruff and keep your head and hair healthy and moisturised.

For an itchy scalp

Add 8-10 drops of tea tree oil with 1-2 tablespoons of unrefined coconut oil, mix well; then apply this on your head and massage it in. Let it sit for some time, and then shampoo as normal.

Another option is if you want, you can also add a tablespoon of olive oil and three drops of both tea tree oil and peppermint oil to warm water. Massage this mix onto your scalp after shampooing, allow it to sit for 30 minutes, and wash it off with shampoo.

Overnight Treatment:

For the overnight treatment, create a mixture of carrier oils such as almond oil, olive oil, and jojoba oil (for every 250 ml of the mixture add in 10-15 drops of tea tree oil). Mix this well and massage evenly on your scalp. do this for several minutes and let the mixture stay overnight. Wash it off with shampoo as per usual in the morning.
