QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise v21.0: Productivity Improvement

QuickBooks Desktop 2021 includes a variety of new and improved key product features that help our clients improve their day-to-day productivity. 

Bank feeds IMPROVED!

To Access, follow the steps below:

  1. From the menu bar, choose: 

Edit > Preferences > Checking > Bank Feeds > Advanced Mode.

  1. To Open Bank Feeds from the menu bar, choose: 

Banking > Bank Feeds > Bank Feeds Center.

New Features includes:

  • Automatically sort bank transactions with more detail by utilizing upgraded rules
  • Batch editing, and Improved matching
  • Gain flexibility and efficiency with enhanced rules that grant you to rapidly look for, and define categorization criteria.

Receipt Management is New

To Access, follow the steps below:

From the menu bar, choose:

 Vendors > Receipt Management.

New Features includes:

  • Automatically create and categorize receipt expense transactions using mobile app that captures Receipt Data
  • Captures receipts, import, and review
  • Stay organized by attaching digital receipt images to expense transactions
  • Efficiently categorize review, and manage multiple receipt transactions

Customer Groups are New

To Access, follow the steps below:

From the menu bar, choose:

Customers > Payment Reminders > ManageCustomer Groups, or select Lists > Manage Groups.

New Features includes:

  • Create rule-based customer groups based on customer type, status, location, sales reputation, and balance
  • Customer Groups can be used to automate the sending of invoices or statements and QuickBooks Advanced Reporting.

Automated Send Statements are New

To Access, follow the steps below:

From the menu bar, choose:

Customers > Create Statements, and select “Go to Payment Reminders,” or Customers > Payment Reminders > Schedule Payment Reminders > New Schedule > Statement.

New Features includes:

  • Automate regularly sent statement as per customer needs
  • Statements can be reviewed,  sent using the predefined email and templates 
  • Different Emails and Statements templates can be used for different Customer Groups.

To select the scheduled statement timing, from the menu bar, choose Edit > Preferences > Payments. On the scheduled day and time, a reminder pop-up displays.

Note: Requires the setup of Webmail/Outlook/QuickBooks email, and the setup of Customer Groups.

Customize and format payment receipts are New

To Access, follow the steps below:

From the menu bar, choose:

  1. Lists > Templates > Payment Receipt Otherwise Customers > Receive Payments.
  2. Click to select the Formatting tab on the ribbon toolbar, and select to Customize Data Layout.

Note: If this is your first customization of the Payment Receipt, you will be provoked to make a duplicate of the default Intuit Standard Payment Receipt.

New Features includes:

  • Appreciate an expert and predictable look over your client correspondences
  • Customize the format by using the familiar Layout Designer tool
  • Make various configurations for use with explicit clients

PDF Invoice and attachment review is Improved

To Access, follow the steps below:

From a  Create Invoices transaction,choose Email on the Main ribbon toolbar.

New Features includes:

  • Automatically preview the invoice and attachments 
  • No longer necessary to manually open each attachment outside of QuickBooks

QuickBooks Desktop Manager is new

New Features includes:

  • Easily find and install all of your QuickBooks Desktop products from a single Tool
  • Get going, in as meager as four clicks, when introducing or to Update QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.

Note: Desktop Manager does exclude claimed licenses of QuickBooks Point of Sale through QuickBooks Remote Access.
