- Enable IMAP under the IMAP access.

- Changing the SMTP settings
You need to change the SMTP settings of your account to sync your Google account to the Microsoft cloud. Click on the Manage Connected Accounts option under the Outlook.com link. Enter the correct IMAP and SMTP settings and your full name, email address, and password.

- Visit the link Gmail.com.
- Go to the Gmail Settings menu.
- Next, click on the Labels tab.
- Ensure that the Show in IMAP option is selected for Inbox, Sent Mail, Trash, and All Mail.

- Refreshing Outlook
