Curl Pattern? What Is It? The main question that most people have when they are faced with a hair loss problem. And the question is what is my hair type? A common misconception is that every person’s hair loss is caused by genetic mutations. In reality, it is not a mutation at all, it is a normal process. That occurs when your follicles lose their ability to renew the roots of your hair. This process happens because the follicles continue to receive insufficient blood supply as the years go by. If this process continues, the hair will eventually fall out.

One of the most common reasons for hair loss is stress. There are many different types of stress that can cause hair loss. And men are more likely to suffer from this. When you are in a lot of stress, your body releases hormones that can actually damage your follicles. These hormones can also cause your hair to fall out. The type of stress that can cause hair loss is emotional. The hair may start falling out just because your scalp is also feeling stressed.

Another thing that can cause hair loss in menopause. During menopause, the hormone levels decrease in the ovaries, which are the key to hair growth. Since these hormones don’t exist any longer, hair is not able to regenerate. You may notice that when you are trying to lose your hair. There is a thinner line between you and the bald spot, but this does not mean that you are losing hair.

How to Find Your Curl Pattern

Most curly hair won’t have the same curl pattern as straight hair. Curly hair is soft and smooth, but is also very intricate in texture, making it all the more difficult to find a hair care regimen that works for you.

Curling irons are widely available. Whether you are looking for the cheapest one on the shelf or a more expensive model that gives you the professional look, there is a flat iron for every budget.

Before you buy, be sure to check it out to make sure that it is safe for you. While the price of these appliances has dropped dramatically in recent years, some of them have been known to cause eye irritation, skin irritation, and permanent damage to the scalp.

If you want to know how to find your curl pattern, make sure you look for one that has been proven safe for its users. Look for one that claims to enhance the curls rather than create them.

Using a curling iron

It is much safer to use the device on hair that is straightened and not particularly fragile.

Hair that is thick, dry, or damaged will take much longer to grow out than healthy hair. The results may look impressive, but they may not be worth the risk.

Even with naturally straight hair,  if the curls are already unruly, you may not be able to achieve a natural curl pattern with a flat iron. Be aware that you may end up with a smoky effect or even a split end.

You don’t have to choose a flat iron that only comes in a gray shade or a dull brown. You can select irons with rich colors, shiny finishes, and models that give you the choice between a shaded and a flat finish.

Try to experiment with the power setting. It may be best to start with one setting at low and two at medium, and then gradually build your way up to full blast.

Try increasing the temperature of the iron

If you’re working with damaged or frizzy hair, try increasing the temperature of the iron, or perhaps find a setting that provides slightly more heat than the one you use now. You may need to give your hair a little more time to adapt.

Your hair’s health and appearance will benefit from the extra time it takes for your hair to adjust to the new settings. If you already have damaged or straight hair, you will likely benefit from using a lower temperature setting in order to soften the damaged areas and then apply higher settings for the ends.

Final words

Once you know how to find your curl pattern, it will be easier to achieve one that you love. It can take about a week to get ready for that first night’s styling, but don’t worry, this routine will be a constant part of your life, ensuring you have lovely curls every day.
